These Terms of Service (hereinafter: “Terms”) govern the use of the Nearo mobile application (hereinafter: “App”) available on iOS and Android platforms, provided as an electronic service.
The App is provided by Piotr Lechnio, a sole proprietor based in Warsaw, Poland (hereinafter: “Provider”). Contact: contact@nearo.pl.
By using the App, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
The App enables verified residents of a given Settlement to:
Registration requires providing a phone number in international format (E.164). The Provider sends a one-time OTP code via SMS to verify the number.
After phone verification, the User provides a display name, street, and building number, then enters the settlement code received from the building manager or a neighbor.
During registration, the App requests one-time access to the device’s GPS location to verify the User’s presence within the declared Settlement area.
Registration is free. Use of the App is free of charge.
Each User may have one active Account tied to one phone number.
The User is obligated to provide truthful data and must not share their Account with third parties.
The User may edit their notification settings at any time.
The User agrees not to publish content that:
Chat conversations are private (1:1) and are initiated in the context of a specific Listing.
A User may block a conversation with another User. Blocking prevents further communication within that conversation.
A User may report a Listing or Chat message that violates these Terms by selecting one of the following categories:
The Provider reserves the right to:
The App may send push notifications regarding: new Chat messages, new Listings in selected categories, and system messages from the Provider.
The User may disable individual notification types in Settings or disable notifications entirely at the operating system level at any time.
All elements of the App (source code, graphics, layout, logos) are the property of the Provider or are used under license.
The User retains rights to the content they publish, while granting the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display such content within the App for the duration of publication.
The Provider is not responsible for content published by Users.
The Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure the App functions correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free availability of the service.
The Provider does not mediate transactions between Users and bears no responsibility for their outcome.
The User may delete their Account at any time via the option in their Profile (“Delete account”). The process is irreversible.
After deletion: (a) the Account status is changed to deleted; (b) the phone number is anonymized; (c) active push tokens are deactivated; (d) active Listings are closed; (e) the display name in Chat conversations is replaced with “Deleted user”.
The User may also request Account deletion by emailing contact@nearo.pl.
Complaints should be submitted by email to contact@nearo.pl.
The Provider will address complaints within 14 days of receipt.
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be notified of material changes via push notification or an in-app message at least 14 days in advance.
Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If the User does not accept the changes, they should delete their Account.
These Terms take effect on the date of publication.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
