How to delete your account

You can delete your Nearo account at any time directly from the App. The process is irreversible — once confirmed, your data will be anonymized and cannot be restored.

1. Sign in to the Nearo app.
2. Open your Profile.
3. Tap “Delete account”.
4. Confirm the action in the dialog.

What happens after deletion

The following changes are applied immediately and irreversibly:

• Account status is changed to deleted.
• Phone number is anonymized (replaced with a non-identifiable placeholder).
• All active push notification tokens are deactivated.
• All active listings are closed and hidden from the feed.
• Display name in existing chat conversations is replaced with “Deleted user”.
• All locally stored data (cache, tokens) is cleared on the device.

Alternative method

If you cannot access the App, you may request account deletion by emailing contact@nearo.pl. Please send the request from the phone number associated with your account or provide it in the email body. Deletion will be processed within 72 hours.
